Aldi has just announced it will be bringing back its travel range with prices for the items starting as low as $6.

The German retailer, known for its popular Special Buys section located in the middle aisle, will launch its Love at First Flight range on Wednesday, May 31.

It has a host of “must-have” products ranging from the cheapest item – a $6 compact umbrella in assorted colours – to the most expensive – hard shell luggage at $70.

“Whether you’re going to Bathurst, Bendigo or Berlin, Aldi has you covered with everything you need to make your trip more comfortable - and importantly, more affordable,” an Aldi spokesperson told news.com.au.

“Our Love at First Flight Special Buys is back by popular demand, and with prices starting from $5.99 we’re sure customers will be flying into stores to pick up those holiday must haves - like adaptors and the non-negotiable travel pillow.”

The suitcase has a “durable polycarbonate shell”, comes in charcoal or beige and weighs 4kg.

The 52-litre capacity suitcase measures 67cm x 46cm.

Aldi also said its memory foam travel pillow is “a fraction of the price of others on the market”.

And it has a point. Travellers have been raving about this TRTL pillow on TikTok that boasts an endless stream of positive reviews with over 26,000 on Amazon alone.

It retails for just over $70, while Aldi’s version is just $17.

But, the “secret” of the TRTL travel pillow is in its internal support system, hidden in its super-soft fleece, according to the product’s website.

Its mini memory foam travel pillow assortment range comes in a contour shape, traditional shape, neck roll or neck support, with each style available in two colours.

Travel organisers always come in handy and the retailer has a six-pack for $10. There are two with zip closures and four with drawstring, available in grey, beige or blue.

The antitheft cross body bag has a fashionable look with colours in charcoal and beige.

It’s described as having “secure compartments” with sealable pockets, lockable zippers and RFID blocking pocket for bank cards and passports. It’s selling for $20.

More Coverage

You can also get your hands on TSA approved combination lock (two-pack) or suitcase strap for just $10.

But the retailer is experiencing delays on this product, together with several other items in the range including its very affordable hair straightener and curler for $20 (each), travel joggers for $20, tracksuit for $30 and travel blanket for $25.

The range will hit stores nationwide on May 31 and Aldi warns products are only available while stocks last.
